This past Wednesday a group of Juniors attended the Industry Exploration Day at CCC in Hastings. They each explored three different career pathways of their choice with hands-on activities and small group discussions with faculty. Favorite activities from the group included the tire rotation challenge and the heavy machinery tasks.

Sophomores attended the 29th Annual Career Exploration Day on October 15th. This event is hosted by the Kearney Area Chamber of Commerce and Nebraska National Guard. Students had the opportunity to talk with over 70 businesses/venders to gain a better understanding of the careers available to them.

Earlier in October, a group of students attended a Youth Leadership Summit at UNK. Students had the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones to practice and grow their leadership skills. There was emphasis placed on healthy relationships and how to be your best self while including others.

Volleyball Sub-Districts are out. We travel to Hastings St. Cecilia this coming Monday the 27th. We play Sandy Creek at 5:30pm. If we win we play Tuesday at 6pm. More information to come as we get it. GO BUFFS!

Remember there are no passes accepted tonight. The NSAA sets the price at $8 adults/$6 students. Here is the link to purchase with a card. There is a fee on top per ticket that you must pay if you use a card. If not cash is good at the gate for the $8 & $6 price. Buffalo Brew will be set up in the ballfield concession stand and we will have full concessions. GO BUFFS!
