Today, Mrs. Schopke's 3rd graders had a special treat! Mrs. Holland and her 6th grade helpers invited us to visit the planetarium that's been at school. We loved looking at the night sky and seeing the constellations! This was a fun connection between our reading and science!
Juniors had the opportunity to learn about all the exciting things UNK has to offer. In addition to a run down on scholarships and financial aid, groups toured facilities to explore programs of interest.
Here is the schedule for the High School FKC Track Meet in Wilcox on Friday, April 26th. Field events start at 9 am. We believe the makeup date for this event is on Saturday, April 27th. GO BUFFS!!
Elementary K-6th Track and Field Day is Thursday, May 2nd at 11:30am. We will eat lunch at the park prior to the event from 11:00am-11:30am. Please feel free to meet your child at the park to enjoy lunch together. A schedule of the track events will be coming soon. There will be no concessions.
Good luck to all of our kids competing today. High School Varsity Golf is at the Kearney Catholic Invite at Meadowlark Golf Course with a tee time of 9 am. Junior High Track is at Gibbon with a 1 PM start time for field events. The meet schedule is attached. Then JV Golf is at Alma playing 9 holes with a 2 PM start time. Good luck to all and GO BUFFS!!
