EC fans as we start Winter sports we want to remind you of our fan expectations. We did good, butstill have room to improve in this area. We will continue working on it. Our goal is for everyone to enjoy the game, and have fun while attending.
ACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
Maintain enthusiasm & composure, serving as a role model.
Participate positively in the event/contest by supporting players & coaches.
Show respect & concern for an injured player, no matter the team.
Respect the decisions made by game officials.
Respect fans, coaches and participants.
Encourage surrounding fans to display sportsmanship.
UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOR
The following represent some, but not all examples of negative fan behavior,
and will not be tolerated
Chants/comments directed at a single player, coach, or official by name or number.
-Disrespectful/derogatory chants, songs gestures directed at teams, fans, coaches, or officials.
-Use of profane, vulgar or abusive language
-Heckling an official's decision
-Engaging an opposing fan or group of fans in a dispute/ argument.
-Chants antagonizing opponents or their fans
-Attempting to coach from the bleachers or sidelines, giving specific instructions to any participant. Let the players play and the coaches coach.

Congratulations to these students that will advance to the next round for The Elks Free Throw Contest in Kearney at the YMCA on Dec 11th. Girls will shoot at 1:00 pm and boys will shoot at 3:00 pm. Good Luck to them all.

8th grade Social Studies is working on Thomas Jefferson’s foreign policy including the Barbary Wars and Embargo Act of 1807. Students are utilizing partner work to examine how those events influenced Thomas Jefferson and future U.S. foreign policy.




The 6th graders are working on identifying text structures and how an author sets up a text. Today, students are creating timelines to organize the sequence in our story. 📚
