Do you have Lego blocks you are no longer using? EC School is taking donations of Lego blocks for Mr. Bauer's STEM class. Don't have any.... you can also make a donation of a new set! Lego blocks are great for creativity, problem solving, critical thinking and building to scale.

The NSAA has passed a shot clock rule starting in 2024-2025 basketball season. If your business or one you know is interested in sponsoring/purchasing a shot clock please let Mr Marquez know. The cost of a complete system is just under $5000. If your business does this it will be announced during every shot clock violation during games as "That is a (business name) shot clock violation". If you want to partner and split with another business we would have one hoop one business and the other hoop the second business. Again if you have questions or would like to do this let Mr Marquez know.
Overton just notified us they can only play two quarters of JV boys. Due to this we will be moving the start time of JV boys from 4:30 PM to 5 PM with Varsity girls to follow as soon as we can. Please remember to come support TeamMates in their soup supper and our senior basketball and cheer athletes for Senior Night. GO BUFFS!!!

Last week the third graders had BIG surprise! They drew "special guest" out of the jar for filling their reward chart. And they had a VERY SPECIAL GUEST indeed--Mrs. Schlect!!--who was able to join on FaceTime from the fort in Alabama. 💙💛💙💛

The Knights of Columbus are holding their Free Throw Contest at Elm Creek on Sunday, January 28th in the Vintage Gym. Registration begins at 12:30 PM and the contest begins at 1:30 pm. This is for boys and girls ages 9 to 14. Please see the flyer for more information. We hope to see you there!

Here is a message from NSAA regarding ticket sales for the State Wrestling Tournament. Elm Creek did get our Session 5 & 6 tickets because we got them in early. If you didn't pre-order tickets there is conversation about the NSAA partnering to set up a ticket exchange page. Those tickets can only be sold at face value. I will keep you posted as information comes available. Please do not purchase tickets from 3rd party sites for the astronomical prices they are asking. If you did not pre-order tickets and want some please let me know and I will put you on a list and share it with our ticket holders. We will try to find you tickets. If you have questions contact me at the school.
