The FAFSA opened earlier than expected! If you missed our financial aid/FAFSA information night back in September, we have information folders available to help you start the process. EducationQuest is also a great resource. You can schedule a time with their office to get help with your application or check out their website. https://educationquest.org/pay/fafsa-tools/

Don't forget about the Foundation's coin war for Give Where You Live Day! The object of this competition is to get your team's jug number the highest with COINS. You can take down your competition numbers by adding Paper Bills to their jugs! ALL paper bills in the jugs will count against the change in there! GOOD LUCK! The winning team gets to choose 4 staff members to pie in the face at an assembly on Nov 26th! Jugs are located in the lobby! You can donate to the Elm Creek School Foundation directly by clicking the following link: https://www.givewhereyoulive.net/organization/ElmCreekSchoolFoundation

The first period foods class recently completed a Mac and Cheese challenge. They had to make macaroni and cheese from scratch. They shared it with staff members who then rated each groups texture, appearance, and taste. Winners of todays group were: Ryan, Keston, Justice.

3rd grade is continuing their unit on the Romans. Today, we played "hot potato" to review information we've learned about Julius Caesar. Then, we took the information we learned today (his best friend plotted against him!) to debate if we thought Julius was a hero or traitor!

We kindly ask for your help in keeping our playground clean, especially during weekends. If your children enjoy playing on the school playground during non-school hours, please remind them to pick up after themselves and take care of the school grounds. Your cooperation makes a big difference in keeping our space safe and enjoyable for everyone. Thank you for your support!
