Today, 4B learned about the history of 9/11. We researched the Twin Towers, watched the President give his speech, and talked about hero's. They took time to draw a picture of a hero and write them a thank you!
The world needs more people like this student, and I am so glad they attend Elm Creek. Myself (Mrs. Killion) found this in the library today after school. Thanks to the student who left it, my day was definitely made.
Lifetime sports students are working on some corn hole skills for class. It is fun to have this opportunity to play.

LET"S CELEBRATE!!!! Elm Creek JH/HS is having attendance competitions every month this year to help improve our overall attendance which we know improves learning. The boys beat the girls by a considerable margin in the month of August. Today they got an ice cream sundae for their victory! Way to go boys!! Huge shout out to Foster Foods in Elm Creek for being a sponsor of EC Buffs and for having great ice cream! The boys loved it. Keep encouraging your kids to be here as much as they can. We love to see them every day. September's competition is class vs class. GO BUFFS!!
