Third graders are busy learning division and multiplication in math. Today, we practiced finding the equal number of groups, and number of items in each group. They are rocking math!!!

6th grade had a challenge of making the tallest tower using only specific materials AND each group member could only touch one material of. They practiced their group communication that they have been talking about during Counseling class this past week. It was so much fun!!!

We hope you can come out to the Powerade Scrimmages & Practice Friday. Donated drinks can be put in the big trash cans outside the main gym doors, and in the back of the bobcat at the southeast gates of the football field. Concessions will have pop, candy, and popcorn only. We encourage everyone to support the Parent/Staff Appreciate Group at the Taco Bar Dinner which will be served out of the ballfields concession stand. They do so much for our school. See you Friday night! GO BUFFS!!

FYI....Elm Creek Marching Band will not be playing on Saturday for the parade. We have had to make a lot of changes to improve things, and they are not ready yet. We are working hard to improve this. Thanks for understanding.

5 groups of Elm Creek students will be out selling ads for our 2025-26 school year to our community and surrounding communities. We have added a yearbook ad and youth sports livestream sponsor option to go with the gym, football field, and hudl ads. We are able to livestream most of our events and get some large ticket items for our students with your help. We have had such great support, and we thank you for that. Calculus class built cardboard boats. We first tested small boats in class to look at designs, found their volumes, and filled them with rocks to try and discovery a relationship for volume and buoyancy. Then they were tasked to build a boat to float them. We talked more in depth about the relationship with volume and buoyancy . Today the kids got to test their boats!
