Reminder since we are expecting snow/ice in the forecast
Dear Families, This is just a quick reminder of our process when deciding to call a snow day and cancel school. I start with information from the National Weather Service, Weather Channel, and any other quality source of information. I also drive the roads to see for myself what the moisture, cold, and accumulation are doing to our country routes. My first goal is to always keep our students, staff and parents safe. My second goal is to communicate with you as early as possible. We will send out a message if there is a cancellation or late start using our Elm Creek App (sends a Text & Phone Call), Social Media, and the local media outlets. My hope is to try and announce a snow day the night before so families have time to make arrangements and prepare. I also try very hard to avoid late starts as I know this can create as many issues as simply canceling school. Sincerely, Dr. Schroder

Due to weather forecast for tonight and tomorrow the FKC has moved the start time of the FKC Junior High Wrestling Meet at SEM to 12:00 PM tomorrow. Weigh-ins will be at 10:30 am. Stay tuned for more information as it becomes available. GO BUFFS!

Our Buffs came out in the third quarter and turned up the defensive pressure. Alma only scored 4 points. We also extended their lead to 44-28. One more quarter to go boys!!

Our “Elementary Teacher Wish List” trees are up! Each ornament on the trees lists an item that each teacher has wrote down for their classroom wish lists items. Be sure to stop by the school to grab an ornament or two!
CHANGE OF SCHEDULE: SEM emailed us and let us know they changed the schedule for this Friday, December 9th. All games will be played in the main gym. Our JV girls will start at 3:30 pm and will play 2 quarters. The boys will play after and play 4 quarters.
