This weeks golden Buffalo winners! Way to be GOLD.
Due to temperature readings we are getting right now and the forecasted temperatures for the next few days we have moved all outdoor practices for Tuesday and Wednesday. Cross Country will practice at 6:30 am both days. Football practice will begin at 7:30 pm on Tuesday and will be 2 hours. We are still working on Wednesday to find a solution for practice and youth group. Please stay tuned for this. If your athlete has a conflict they must communicate this with the coach. We are monitoring the situation and will update you with any changes as they occur. Please be prepared for this to change again should the situation warrant it. Our students and coaches safety is our number one priority.
The high school volleyball game vs Axtell next Thursday August 31st was on our calendar as being in Axtell. This game is in Elm Creek JV starts at 4:30 pm. Thanks!

Stampede Days Parade!! Go Buffs!
The band had an amazing time seeing all of the cool stuff the UNL band did! We learned a lot and got to hear an amazing example of a college band! Go big red! 🎷🥁🎺 🎈
We will not be live-streaming tonight. We do not want other teams scouting us by watching our scrimmages. We want to ensure we are doing what is best for our teams and athletes. Go Buffs!!!
Reminders on expectations at games. There are to be no students upstairs in the weight room or running around the building during indoor events. At the football field all spectators must be behind the fence. Students are not allowed to run around on the track or play football in the end zones. If they do want to play football we ask they go to east side of the tennis courts in the park and play. Parents thank you for your help on this. Go Buffs!!
Remember tonight we are having our scrimmages. Admission is free, but we encourage you to bring some gatorade or water to donate to the teams for travel if you can. We are excited for a great night! Here is the schedule. We will have concessions.

There are several days in the 10 day forecast that are very hot and humid. Today is one of those days. We are monitoring the heat index and will follow NSAA Guidelines for our Wet Bulb Globe System. Please be prepared for practice times to change or be moved inside if necessary for all outdoor practices during this stretch. We will communicate changes with athletes and parents as soon as we make the decision to move things that will change schedules. This will not change JH practices we will just move those indoors. Preschool Open House tonight from 5:30-6:30! Preschool starts tomorrow! We can't wait to see all out our prek students!
Third grade learning about perspective today! After listening to The Wind in the Willows, they wrote from Water Rat's perspective after Mole took the oars!
Remember there is the Nebraska High Schools Sports Hall of Fame Jamboree Volleyball game tonight at Holdrege 6 PM. Passes are not accepted and the cost to get in is $6 for adults/$5 for students. This is a Varsity only contest. Good luck Lady Buffs!
