The first ever Elm Creek Invitational meet was a huge success! Thank you to all the teams that came to compete today, the many helpers and judges that made it run smoothly and the Elm Creek Foundation in the concession stand. We also want to shout out our seniors Emily and Joli!
The Elm Creek Speech team had a great showing today with Maranda and Ayva getting 1st, Joli getting 2nd and 4th, Kynadi getting 3rd, Abigail getting 4th, and Brie getting 6th!! Phenomenal performances all around which have Elm Creek the team place of 3rd overall!! Huge congrats!!

Parents of students in K-6th grade your students have until March 3rd to raise money for the American Heart Association. Please return your packets to your classroom teacher or Mrs. Killion. Also you may make donations online as well.

The Elm Creek FFA is hosting a canned food drive for FFA week from Feb. 21st through Feb. 24th. If you would like to donate any non-perishable food items, you can drop it off at the main office during normal operating hours.

The weather forecast is calling for snow to begin around 3:00 p.m. and become heavier at 6:00 p.m. with an expected overnight accumulation of 3 - 6 inches. Based on this information we will hold parent/teacher conferences this evening as planned. If you feel unsafe driving we can reschedule your child’s conference for next week. This evening I will drive the roads and try to make a call by 10:00 p.m. so everyone has time to plan if we cancel school tomorrow. Please stay safe and warm and don’t forget we have free haircuts for students this evening from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the music room.
