Congrats Junior Ashley Bauer from Elm Creek for a 3rd team selection, and all other FKC All Conference Volleyball selections. This was a very tough year as our conference had 8 NSAA State All Tournament Team Members, 2 State Champions, and one Runner-Up. There is some great volleyball in the FKC!
So parents and spectators can plan accordingly:
District One Act is at Southwest High School in Bartley, Nebraska on November 27th. The start time for the competition is 9:30 AM. We will perform at 11:00 AM.

Elm Creek Schools: Here is the link to your NSAA State Wrestling Tournament Tickets for our school. We are Class D. All orders must be turned in with payment to Mrs Shoff in the Elm Creek High School office by November 21, 2023 at noon. We have order forms in the office. We will mail our ticket package with a check for all tickets the morning of November 22nd. We want to ensure we get our order there for the random drawing. Make checks out to Elm Creek Public School. The more we sell the better seats we get so please get your tickets here. Last year we had great seats! If you have questions let Mr. Marquez know.

Last full day in Indianapolis for our FFA members! Today we started our day letting off steam at an arcade and playing laser tag, then we toured a goldfish and koi farm, and to finish our day we watch the Cinch Toughest Rodeo! We had a lot of fun bonding as chapter, learning about fish farming and aquaculture, and watching past FFA members ride bucking broncos and bulls!
Juniors are working on the Pythagorean Theorem during their MTSS Essential Time.

Spanish 1 has been learning about Día de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) the last two days! We made and decorated calaveras (skulls) to celebrate!

Day 1 of National FFA Convention complete! On our 10 hour ride, we stopped in Moline Illinois to see the John Deere Pavilion. The students learned about the history of John Deere and farming equipment. They also saw new tractors and combines! To finish off the day we stopped at Texas Roadhouse!
The One Act team at Elm Creek had the honor of getting a letter of well wishes from Edith Weiss the author of this year's play "No Body To Murder"! The season is approaching quickly with our first performance here in town at 7:30 am for the Elm Creek Early Bird! Break a leg!!!
