Tonight is the first football game of the new year and we are so excited! I want to communicate a couple of expectations after watching the scrimmages last week to ensure all fans enjoy their experience of coming to the game.
1. roller blades, skateboards, scooters, and/or bikes are not allowed in the stadium.
2. No-one is allowed onto the track in front of our stadium seating area except for football personnel and the band. Everyone else should be behind the fence unless entering or leaving the facility.
3. "Pick-up" football games will not be allowed in the stadium area or in the back of the end zones. Those can happen over at the park or on the ballfields far away from spectators.
4. Parents are responsible to supervise children, so please help us with this.
5. Treat the other players, fans, and officials with respect. We cheer for our team!
6. Have a great time and enjoy the game cheering for the Buffaloes!!

Tomorrow at school it is Blue & Gold Day!! We are asking all staff and students to dress up for school and wear it to the game. Hats that match the theme are okay. We are going to have our Pep Rally to start off the Fall sports season before the girls leave for Amherst and the boys get ready to battle South Loop at home. We will be picking 2 elementary and 2 high school best dressed tomorrow and announcing them at the Pep Rally! We hope everyone comes out to support our team and wears their Blue and Gold to the games! GO BUFFS!!!!
Today Mrs Fries was prepping her kids for an airplane experiment tomorrow. They talked a lot today about the independent and dependent variables of their experiments. We can’t wait to see those paper airplanes tomorrow!!
Mrs Kitterman is hard at work getting the Pep Band ready for the season. Her high school group worked on September by Earth Wind and Fire.

Today the 6th grade worked on engineering a design to a problem, a skill they’ll be working on in science class all year. They were given three cups and were told to stack them without ever touching them. They had limited supplies, and had to figure out which supply wasn’t needed to stack the cups. It was a great lesson in perseverance and team building, and was so much fun to see their brains working so hard!
