After one here at SEM in sub-districts semis the Lady Buffs and Amherst are tied at 11.

Today, Mrs. Schopke's 3rd grade read about meteors, asteroids, and comets! It was so interesting! Then, they filled out a TRIPLE Venn diagram to compare and contrast these space objects. Finally, they used the diagram to help us write a paragraph!

On Monday, the first period Foods class made chicken fried rice! There were some excellent dishes prepared! They have been learning about food safety and also worked on knife skills today.
Some of the students from our Elm Creek speech team took their program pieces to share with the senior citizen group. These kids have worked many long hours perfecting their speeches.
Our Elm Creek Speech Invite will be this Saturday February 17th starting at 8 am. The public is welcome to attend. There is no charge to get into the meet. We would love to see you come and support our program.
