Don't forget about the Foundation's coin war for Give Where You Live Day! The object of this competition is to get your team's jug number the highest with COINS. You can take down your competition numbers by adding Paper Bills to their jugs! ALL paper bills in the jugs will count against the change in there! GOOD LUCK! The winning team gets to choose 4 staff members to pie in the face at an assembly on Nov 26th! Jugs are located in the lobby!

The FKC choir clinic has been a great success so far today. There over 120 singers here representing every FKC school. The Elm Creek choir members would love to have your support at the concert at 5pm.

One Act had a very busy last week with 3 festivals! The following students earned outstanding performer awards: Maranda, Keyan, Steelie, Chloe, Lee, Kassidy, and Taylor! The team got runner up in our division at Kearney. We will have our community performance this Thursday at 7pm

The first period foods class recently completed a Mac and Cheese challenge. They had to make macaroni and cheese from scratch. They shared it with staff members who then rated each groups texture, appearance, and taste.
Winners of todays group were: Ryan, Keston, Justice.




3rd grade is continuing their unit on the Romans. Today, we played "hot potato" to review information we've learned about Julius Caesar. Then, we took the information we learned today (his best friend plotted against him!) to debate if we thought Julius was a hero or traitor!








We kindly ask for your help in keeping our playground clean, especially during weekends. If your children enjoy playing on the school playground during non-school hours, please remind them to pick up after themselves and take care of the school grounds.

The first FKC dance practice was held today in Elm Creek.📣 It is always a fun time getting together to learn new material.



First Grade finished their unit on ancient civilizations. We spent some time yesterday creating our own Ancient Egyptian pharaoh headdresses.
