Tomorrow night’s football game at Elm Creek vs. Hastings St. Cecilia has been moved up to a 5:00 p.m. kickoff.
This change is being made because there is a break in the storms expected during the afternoon and early evening. There is a possibility of more storms and lightning later in the evening, so we are hoping this earlier start will help us avoid long weather delays.
Keep your fingers crossed for good weather and a great night of Buffalo football!

The FirsTier Bank Buffalo Branch is back and will be open for deposits starting October 7th! The program is open for students in 1st grade - 6th grade. This year's bank tellers are Aaliyah, Blakely, Revyn, Kahlan, Blake, Quinn, Jhett, and Emmitt. First time depositors will need to complete the sign up form.

There will be a Special Board Meeting on Wednesday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m. to approve the 2026–2027 school district budget.
Our budget and tax request documents were sent to the newspaper on September 2. Unfortunately, the newspaper inadvertently did not publish the documents. I realized this today while working on the final budget submission. I apologize for not catching this sooner.
By law, these documents must be published in a newspaper at least four days before the budget can be approved. The documents will be published in the Kearney Hub on Saturday, which will allow us to hold the Special Board Meeting on Wednesday as planned.
Nothing about the budget or tax request is changing. This is simply a legal requirement that we need to complete before the Board can formally approve the budget.
