Second grade students are learning the basics of building VEX GO robots, by building the super car that is powered by a rubber band. Students in groups of two follow directions as they build their car together. Once the super car was built, students then tested their cars and learned how friction affects how far the car will travel. After adjusting their cars to reduce friction each groups car traveled further in distance.
