Driver education classes run from June 27 - July 1, 2022, 8:00 am to 12:30 pm with student/parent orientation on June 27 at 8am. Range exercises in Kearney, Thursday, June 30, 2022, 9:30am - 6:00pm and on-street driving will be scheduled with Mr. Bauer. Transportation to Kearney on June 30th will be the responsibility of Parents/Guardians. Students must be 14 and have obtained a learner's permit or school learner's permit. There will be some tuition dollars available for Elm Creek students that pass the 2022 class.
This course conforms to the rules and regulations of the DMV and exceeds the criteria established for insurance discounts. Nebraska DMV regulations require that, “Students must attend all course presentations and pass all examinations”. Therefore, any missed portion(s) of the course, for any reason, must be made up prior to the issuance of a waiver.
